James has been associated with Gap-Africa since 2010 when he joined the Shiplake College Expedition Society’s (SCES) trip to Kenya. There he visited the Kikunduku Schools Project (KSP) during the expedition where he built desks, painted classrooms and made himself generally useful.

James has an adventurous spirit and applies that spirit to raising funds for Gap-Africa’s work at the KSP. In the past he has run the New York marathon and the Reading half marathon for us. But now James has moved that ‘spirit’ up a a few notches by taking on the gruelling Man vs Mountain Challenge in North Wales next year on September 2nd.

James has set up a MyDonate page that has all the details about the event, and his reasons for undertaking such an incredible ordeal. Please read this page, link provided below this, admire him and also please support him and therefore also Gap-Africa.

Gap-Africa has just commissioned the exploratory work for a bore hole well and we will need substantial funds to complete this if the scheme gets the thumbs up from the Geohydrological survey report.

Rock on James!!!
