During the 2017 Shiplake College Expedition Society (SCES) visit to work at the Kikunduku Schools Project (KSP) for Gap-Africa SCES were joined by a group of teachers from Cox Mill Elementary School (CMES) in North Carolina who have raised funds for us for more than twelve years.

The photo below shows Celeste Black unveiling the wall plaque commissioning the dormitory. The bottom photo shows the interior in July 2018 with all the boarder’s beds in place showing the area in full use. We find schools with boarding score much higher in national exam tables as they are at school the whole time and thus find more opportunity to study with the advantage of having teachers to hand to facilitate this.
